What are Indie Words?

Simply, they are words from writers who have chosen to keep them as their own, free from contracts and rules and books that go out of print. The surge of POD companies have allowed authors to bypass commercial publishers and the process that can take two years or more to make their words available to the public. Of course, this has also paved the road for unready words to be released, making the path for the rest of us more bumpy, but still, it is passable. Many of us spend many, many hours improving our words, rewriting, editing, and rewriting again while reading about the craft to improve further. Let us prove ourselves. Check our public words, left open to you for your perusal and opinions. If you criticize, you help us improve. However, do so gently, as our words are precious to us.

We are in progress and our pages are under construction. This page will include links to Indie Author websites, but only those Indie Authors who have spent those hours improving and are publishing quality work worthy of the title "Author."
